ElectriCJAM was a big success and we wish to thank all those who came out to support the Clinic. Through the silent auction and donations at the door, we were able to raise over $2500 which will fund Clinic activities moving forward.

A special thank you to our volunteers, the artists who donated their work and the bands (David Drury, Crazy Diamond, Technical Kidman, Zeroes, the Guerrilla Campaign and musicfirm) without whom the event would not have been possible.

We would like to thanks everyone who came out to our launch on November 27th. We all had a great time and were happy to meet many of you. An extra special thanks to the artists performing that night: musicfirm, Athena Holmes, Chasing Bright Lights and Patrick Pleau. Pictures of the event are available here.

We will progressively be adding legal information documents to our website and keep an eye on our posts to know when the signups will start for our first Legal Info Nights on January 25th. The signups should be open approximatly two weeks before the event.

Our launch is fast approaching for this Friday November 27th at Le Cagibi, starting early!

Doors at 6:30pm with music and announcements starting at 7pm. Don't be shy to show up early to come and meet us!

The Clinique juridique des artistes de Montréal (CJAM) will announce the first stage of its 2009 workshop schedule and launch public delivery of a legal information service with a special event at Le Cagibi (5490 St-Laurent) on Friday November 27^th 2009. The doors will open at 6:30pm and the event starts at 7pm. The evening will include live music and arts displays, celebrity guests and an opportunity for Montrealers (including members of the media) to learn about the ways CJAM is organizing to provide legal information to our city’s artistic community.
