The Montreal Artists Legal Clinic (Clinique juridique des artistes de Montréal - CJAM) and the Conseil des arts de Montreal (CAM) would like to invite all artists to CJAM’s next monthly legal information night on Thursday, February 23rd, from 7:30-9:30 pm at the offices of CAM (1210 Sherbrooke Est).
CJAM’s legal information nights give artists the opportunity to discuss their legal issues with a student-at-law for approximately 30 minutes. The volunteer will then research the artist’s issue and get back to the artist with relevant legal information, which will be approved by one of CJAM's coordinators (usually within 10 business days).
If you’re interested in an appointment, or if you have any questions, please send an email with your name, contact information, preferred language of consultation, preferred time (7:30pm or 8:15pm) and a very short summary of your legal question to rsvp@cjam.info.
